Ten WETE-Sponsored Students Demonstrate Practical Skills
The ten beneficiaries of the Women Empowerment Through Education (WETE) programme successfully completed their practical training exercises this week, showcasing the vocational skills they have acquired through the generous sponsorship of the Stephanus Foundation, Germany.The students demonstrated their abilities in various trades, including catering, baking, cake decoration, cosmetology, craft making and other vocational disciplines. Their practical work reflected the knowledge, creativity and confidence they have developed during the training programme.
The beneficiaries expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Stephanus Foundation for giving them the opportunity to acquire life-changing skills. They noted that the sponsorship has equipped them to become self-reliant, financially independent and better prepared to contribute positively to society.
WETE, founded by Rev. Dr Sr Claret Ogbuehi, continues to empower young women through quality education and vocational training, providing hope and opportunities for a brighter future.
